Why is it important to discuss followers?
1) Individual shift in and out of leader and follower roles.
2) Leaders are influenced by actions, attitudes and skills of followers.
3) Leaders must adjust style to the situation, including followers.
4) Followers require many of the qualities as leaders.
5) Performance of followers .leaders and the organization depend on one another and trends towards empowerment of team members.
Category of Followers.
A) Independent , Critical thinking vs De-pendent, uncritical Thinking.
B) Active vs Passive .
Both of the above are subdivided as below so please have a look in resource of their charac-teristics.
1. Alienated– passive yet In. thinker
2. Pragmatic - works depending on time.
3. Conformist - Active, dependant, uncritical
4. Passive –Lazy and uncritical
5. Effective—Active and critical thinker

Microteaching Video
